How to choose the right wood material?
Choosing from a wide range of wood materials can seem like a daunting task at first. Especially if you don't have daily contact with construction. In fact, there is nothing complicated about it. There are just a few things to know beforehand.
Lining board is suitable for covering the interior walls and ceilings of almost all new and old buildings.
When covering the ceiling with a linen table, it is important to take into account the light coming from windows and luminaires – the direction of the table should be in the direction of the light source.
Interior blinds
Made of A3- A4 and B class wood. The top and back are planed smooth. The backs are grooved longitudinally in the table, to a depth of max 1/4 of the thickness of the table at the groove. The maximum moisture content of the inner lining board shall be 8-10%. Irrespective of the wall construction, battens shall be fixed under the lining. The spacing of the battens is determined by the thickness of the lining board- the thinner the lining board, the closer the underlays must be spaced. For example, if the thickness of the lining board is 12 mm, the maximum spacing between battens should be 600 mm. When installing the lining board, it is advisable use special lining board clamps to avoid visible nail marks and hammer marks.
Selection of sauna materials.
There are a number of principles that should be followed when choosing sauna materials for the best results. .
Untreated wood sauna cladding boards must be treated with a special wood protection impregnation agent. Wood protection agents create a layer that repels dirt and water while remaining breathable, ensuring a longer lifespan for the sauna cladding. Under no circumstances should non-breathable or toxic fume-releasing varnishes be used, as they can make wooden surfaces slippery and flammable.
Alder and aspen are the main roofing materials used in the sauna. They do not burn the body and do not emit resin.
The bottom line is that due to the high temperatures, the sauna bench and seating must be made of hardwood.
